Requirements: 1. Supporting documents: proof of your diagnosis, pre-arranged proposal of treatment from Taiwanese Medical institution(s), letter for visa application
2. Evidence of funds: Bank statement or payment plan agreed to by a medical institution in Taiwan
3. Return Ticket: Flight ticket, electronic ticket or other proof of a travel itinerary
Your spouse, children, parent, grandparent, grandchild or medical support staff may accompany you (maximum of two people in total), but proof of your relationship must be provided.
Applications can be lodged at the nearest Taiwanese overseas mission.
An interview may be required in some cases.
For urgent medical treatment, Taiwanese Medical Institutions can petition the Bureau of Consular Affairs directly. days
